Elegance Academy ("we," "us") operates eleganceandmanners.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have.
Information we collect
You provide it directly when you register for a workshop, request a free 15-minute call, ask a question, or start our free My Elegance Journey program: full name; email address; phone number; number of guests and, for family workshops, optionally your child's first name and age (provided by you as a parent or guardian); your marketing preferences (email and/or text message consent).
Collected automatically when you browse the site: usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, device type, approximate location); advertising data via Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel; basic technical data (IP address, browser type) in our server logs.
We do not knowingly collect any information directly from children under 13. Registration forms are completed by adults; information about a child is provided by the parent or guardian only.
How we use it
- To process your workshop registration and hand you off to our booking and payment system.
- To contact you about your registration or inquiry.
- To send you email updates about upcoming workshops — only if you opted in; unsubscribe anytime via the link in each email.
- To send you text messages about upcoming workshops — only if you gave express written consent; reply STOP anytime to opt out.
- To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate: HoneyBook (client management, registration and payments), Stripe (payment processing within HoneyBook), Google (Analytics 4), Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel — advertising measurement).
We never sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising platforms may qualify as "sharing" under California law — you can opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Internal notifications about new registrations contain only a request number — never your name or contact details.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can opt out of advertising cookies on our Do Not Sell or Share page, or block cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Registration and inquiry records are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. You may request deletion earlier at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request its deletion, correct it, or opt out of sharing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@eleganceandmanners.com — we respond within 30 days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
